Duties: NMS Labs is now seeking a regular full-time Forensic Biologist III or IV in our Criminalistics Lab. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The Forensic Biologist will perform forensic serological testing, as well as isolation, amplification, and typing of DNA in forensic casework biological samples. The Forensic Biologist is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, reporting test results, peer-review, and quality assurance and documentation of analytical processes according to chain of custody and accrediting agency regulations. This position holds responsibility for court testimony, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, method development and implementation, and the training of less experienced staff.
