Salary: Hiring Range: $29.33- $35.19 per hour (plus daily on-call pay of $35 for weekdays, $52 for weekends and $72 for holidays)

Part-Time position. This is an on-call/occasional position. Must be able to take call: 24 hour call, at least but not limited to 5-6 days a month which can include weekends and holidays.
The Deputy Coroner will conduct investigations of all deaths and related procedures that fall under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Coroner. To be in charge when assigned by the Coroner. To conduct a Medicolegal Death Investigation, positively identify the deceased, and notify the next of kin. To observe and or assist forensic pathologists with autopsies if asked to do so and to maintain a proper chain of custody with all evidence, including scene and autopsy photographs.
