Greenville County Department of Public Safety Forensic Division is a leading forensic science laboratory dedicated to providing high-quality, state-of-the-art forensic analysis services. As part of our mission to support law enforcement agencies and the justice system, we are seeking a talented Criminalist (Serology/DNA Analysis) to join our team. Greenville County is seeking a Criminalist to conduct evidence processing and serological examinations on evidence recovered from crime scenes.
Duties
This position is responsible for the analysis of biological material on evidence items; collecting samples for DNA processing; maintaining accurate and detailed documentation reflecting the analysis, findings and conclusions of the examiner; provide expert witness testimony in court proceedings; and to participate in quality control and quality assurance activities. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.Requirements
