The Boulder County Coroner's Office is seeking to hire a Coroner's Office Intern Spring 2025 - Medicolegal Investigations. Opportunities will be during the Spring, Summer and Fall terms. Collegiate interns will have to follow any expectations set by their school if they are completing the internship for credit. Non-collegiate opportunities will also be available on a case-by-case basis.
Medicolegal Interns will rotate through each division of the office to include investigations, pathology, family assistance and administration, but will focus on forensic investigations and post mortem examinations. Our internship offers a rigorous experiential learning program designed to build knowledge and skills for persons interested in pursuing medicolegal death investigation.
This internship is not a paid or benefited position. The internship dates are January 13 to May 1, 2025. This position will work 12-20 hours per week, Monday - Friday 6:00am – 8:00 pm, depending on scheduling needs, with a total of 120 hours needed to complete the internship. This position will work out of 5610 Flatiron Parkway, Boulder, Colorado.
