The Cybersecurity intern will support the development of the Roanoke County Cybersecurity program by identifying and managing cyber risks, create threat/risk assessments and help develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) documentation and System Security Plans (SSPs). The intern will work with the Cybersecurity Operations Engineer and Information Security Manager to learn about and act on cybersecurity risks, threat intelligence, threat vectors, vulnerabilities, vulnerability management, security awareness, incident response, and phishing.
