San Bernardino County's Sheriff's Department, Coroner Division has an exciting internship opportunity for students interested in death investigations, law enforcement, forensics, or a field that is closely related. This is a perfect opportunity for students looking to enter the criminal justice field and apply their coursework with this hands-on internship opportunity.
Duties
Students will rotate within the Coroner's Division and learn and observe the following:- How to do an effective investigation.
- Observe the operations of working in the morgue.
- Learn how to work with the indigent and unidentified population.
- Learn how to perform clerical tasks associated with the Coroner's office and learn the role of a Public Administrator.

Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, or Computer Forensics
Requirements
Students must be enrolled at one of the following colleges or universities:- American Public University System, Inc.
- Barstow Community College
- Cal Poly Pomona
- California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH)
- California State University, Fullerton (CSUF)
- California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM)
- California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB)
- Chaffey College
- Claremont Graduate University
- Crafton Hills ( San Bernardino Community College Districts)
- Inland Valley Job Corps.
- Maryville University
- Occidental College
- Southern California University of Health Sciences
- University of California, Riverside (UCR)
- University of La Verne
- University of Redlands
- University of Southern California (USC)
- Victor Valley College (San Bernardino Community College Districts)
