Duties

Students will rotate within the Coroner's Division and learn and observe the following:
  • How to do an effective investigation.
  • Observe the operations of working in the morgue.
  • Learn how to work with the indigent and unidentified population.
  • Learn how to perform clerical tasks associated with the Coroner's office and learn the role of a Public Administrator.

 Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, or Computer Forensics

Requirements

Students must be enrolled at one of the following colleges or universities:
  • American Public University System, Inc.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in criminology, anatomy, pathology, forensic science, or a closely related field from one of our recognized colleges, universities, or trade schools.
