Incumbents respond to crime scenes and perform a variety of investigative tasks to document the crime including taking photographs, recovering evidence and processing for latent fingerprints and other impression evidence.
This is the entry level class in the Crime Scene Analyst series. As a trainee, an incumbent learns, and performs with guidance, the essential functions stated in this class specification in order to acquire the proficiency expected of a Crime Scene Analyst II.
