The Sheriff's Department, Scientific Investigations Division, is recruiting for Sheriff's Crime Scene Specialists II who respond to and collect evidence from crime scenes and perform a variety of duties including fingerprinting, photography, and other technical duties while receiving training and mentoring in advanced crime scene techniques, such as, bloodstain pattern analysis and gunshot trajectory reconstruction. This is the advanced trainee level of the series (Sheriff's Crime Scene Specialist I, II, and III); incumbents work under general supervision while training and acquiring the knowledge and skills required for promotion to Sheriff's Crime Scene Specialist III (up to $89,544 Annually).
