Duties

  • Technical and administrative duties involved in the collecting, documenting, and preserving of evidence at a crime scene; and related work as required.
  • Shift, weekend, and holiday work is required.

 Earn a Degree in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Science, or Computer Forensics

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduation or G.E.D.*
  • Valid Driver's License.*
  • EITHER: Permanent status as a Crime Scene Associate with the City of New Orleans and one year of crime scene experience. OR: Two (2) years of full-time experience in crime scene investigation related experience equals 30 hours (one year) of college credits.
