Under general supervision, performs supervisory, technical, and administrative work in the Investigations Division of the Police Department. Work involves supervising Evidence Technicians. Provides direct guidance and training to subordinate personnel, ensuring custody of evidence and personal property and ensuring proper disposal of property and evidence. Oversees the Digital Management System and responsible for issuing evidence to police and court personnel, maintaining records of evidence inventory, and presenting court testimony concerning evidence handling procedures. Performs responsible audits. Continually observes personnel to ensure that work meets or exceeds accepted industry standards. Reports to the Investigations Lieutenant.

Requirements
